Within New South Wales diversional therapists complete a health or
applied science based course.
Three (3) essential components studied within these courses include the theory and practice related to leisure, recreation and play, biomedical sciences and behavioural sciences.
Students focus on developing knowledge, skills, processes, practices and values that underpin the diversional therapy profession.
